the room was well equipped with a fan heater and ironing board. crisp bedding was provided i found a welcome tray. i enjoyed the walk to the ancient church on the hill it was highly recommended.
the tv was unusable i found no pub or restaurant open for two days. i saw the notice only the night before my arrival breakfast lacked juice and eggs the sausages tasted awful.

The room showed signs of wear. I noticed threadbare carpets on the stairs AND dirty bannisters! the ceiling had flaking plaster. Cracks were also visible. the shower room needed replacement. The limited menu was not worth the money. the burger bun was burnt. So WAS the toast at breakfast.

the location was good, close to westonbirt arboretum. my room was on the first floor. the car park was big enough . the staff was friendly.
the main road running past the building was being dug up during the night, so it was closed. it impacted my stay.

My family and I stayed in a three-bedroom cottage. Everything was lovely, including the cottage and the restaurant. The staff were helpful and accommodating. We will visit again, I am sure.
The food costed too much for its portions. I had the fish. That fish was rock solid. It was too hard. The mushy peas seemed dry to me. The bed rocked when I sat on it.

shocking windows
the room lacked temperature control, so it was very hot. the windows were in a shocking state, and there was a lack of attentiveness from the staff. tables were not cleared quickly.
