I appreciated the friendly welcome upon arrival. The staff was helpful.. nothing seemed like too much trouble. I found the evening meal excellent and of great value.
I noticed some noise from the bar area late into the evening.

the evening meal was delicious and the staff were accommodating (a definite plus!).
i wasn't aware there was no breakfast served on weekdays, this was disappointing. the rooms are somewhat dated, and i felt cleanliness could be improved. some areas looked like they needed a refresh.

worn furniture excessive noise
The room was somewhat neglected. furniture seemed worn. a fresh coat of paint would improve the space. there was also excessive noise from pub patrons at night. This disrupted sleep.
