traffic noiseroom dust

My room faced the street, so traffic noise bothered me. also, the shower was a bit temperamental. It alternated between hot and cold. i noticed some dust in the corners of the room, it wasn't super clean. i also thought that it would be nice to have more options at breakfast.

mixed feelings about the stay

unclean staircaserattling window

The lack of assistance when my mother was locked in the bathroom was unacceptable. staff should have tools available for emergencies like a simple screwdriver. also, the staircase clearly had not been cleaned recently. It was very dusty. there was insufficient space to hang clothes, and the window rattled, letting in a draft and disturbing my sleep.

The breakfast included a great full English option. My room was a decent size , and it featured a Nespresso coffee machine. The room was very clean , and it had been nicely renovated.

The stairs to the second floor WERE steep. I requested a room change to the first floor , but this was not possible. Also , the room was not serviced on most of the nights I stayed.
