excellent stay
friendly stafffree shuttlemisleading advertisement
the staff were super friendly and helpful. the hotel also provided a free shuttle to and from the train station. breakfast was great (i especially liked the bread). homemade bread and baked goods were available in their bakery.

the hotel has its own bakery that offers homemade breads and baked goods each morning. they had a very extensive breakfast buffet, including coffee, juices, wellness shots, meats and speciality cheeses. they also serve eggs and potato pancakes.

the hotel provides excellent shower gel and shampoo in the rooms. a separate toilet and shower offered convenience. the room had dark paneling, and there was sometimes poor lighting. i appreciated the comfortable and clean atmosphere.

the hotel sits slightly off the main street, offering a break from the crowds. there are many opportunities for hiking close by. it is walkable with a carry-on to the train station. the view of the matterhorn from my room was a dream.
