The evening meals were delicious, I especially enjoyed the Thai evening. Staff was friendly and the atmosphere in the evening was warm. The location was also good for visiting local places of interest. I appreciated the easy access to other places by road and nearby rail services.
The small car park was an issue. The room heating did not work properly on my first night. There was some damp evident in the bathroom.

Excellent Village Stay

The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable! I found plenty of places to hang my clothes. The pub had good facilities. I liked the on-site parking next to the building.

the staff were cute and helpful. the pub was well situated. the room was very comfortable, though it was a bit warm since the day had been hot.
i asked for a quiet room because of a medical condition, but i was given one right above the area where the beer casks were stored, so it was noisy after 8am. the noise from the refrigeration units was unacceptable late at night and early in the morning! the room's location was a definite problem.
