excellent food and friendly staff
warm welcome lovely staff excellent meal delicious breakfast
bev gave a warm welcome. staff were lovely. sean prepared excellent meals. the steak and ale pie was amazing!!! succulent chicken and gammon were cooked perfectly. breakfast was delicious too. i am definitely going back.
i wished the karaoke did not run until midnight, as it was difficult to sleep after a long journey.

this place is great for walks. local amenities are a short drive away. the inn is in a quiet location. a visit to the saxon church opposite the inn is a must.

staff were so friendly throughout my visit. the chef was helpful, polite and friendly. the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. the staff are wonderful and helpful.

the room was super clean throughout. the room was a good size. it had very comfortable beds. everywhere was nicely decorated. my room was newly decorated and comfortable.

delicious breakfast room thermostat
The included breakfast was delicious, and it kept me full all morning. The room also featured a thermostat. I could control the temperature. EVERYTHING was as expected.

a good stay but not perfect
breakfast selection friendly staff broken holder restaurant selection
the breakfast included a really good selection of foods. the staff was very friendly and helped with my bags to my room. i liked this a lot.
the toilet roll holder in the bathroom were broken, i didn't expect this. i were hoping for a bit more from the restaurant selection.

The tv and settee added comfort (so relaxing!). Breakfast was superb with many options.
The toilet roll holder in the bathroom was broken. The coat-hook also was not working. I hoped for a slightly more modern restaurant menu.
