a few issues , honestly
shower condition nonfunctional key
the shower was not a highlight , it really put me off. the front door key did not work , so i could have been stuck in a fire. the bed also creaked. there was nowhere to put my water or phone , things you would need during the night, frankly.

The English cooked breakfast was quite good. The staff addressed guests politely (everyone was "Sir" or "Madam"). My room was clean and reasonably spacious, with a front-facing view. I also found the hosts to be great.
The walls seemed thin. I could hear the TV next door.

friendly staff lovely food comfortable room helpful staff
the staff members were friendly. i found the food to be lovely. the room felt comfortable. i appreciated the helpfulness shown by everyone there. i enjoyed the convenience of parking. the garden looked well tended. i noticed some topiary there. the family history with military ties was interesting.
the breakfast pre-order system felt slightly restrictive.

I found the staff super friendly. The evening meal in the restaurant was really good. The location seemed very peaceful and quiet to me. I also enjoyed a clean room with everything I needed.
I noticed a very slight smell in the room.

The Nepalese and Indian cuisine at the on-site restaurant was very flavorful. Portion sizes were generous. The staff extended a friendly welcome and were helpful throughout my stay.
