unwelcoming service small room
the room was clean and spacious, providing everything i needed.
The breakfast service felt unwelcoming. A greeting would have been nice.. the room size proved to be quite small. i chose to depart after two nights of a three-night stay.

the staff weren't very friendly to me. i felt very unwelcomed at breakfast and a simple hello, would improve that. also, the room felt small, i expect better for the price i paid.

the food in the restaurant tasted delicious with a good selection and cooked to perfection. breakfast was taken in the bar area, with ample choices and the cooked items well prepared.
the room i stayed in felt small. i decided to check out after just two nights, even though i had booked three.

The location was beautiful. the room was cosy and looked super fresh, i really appreciated that. the staff worked hard and were very attentive (i saw them always smiling!). the food was excellent. I especially enjoyed the dinner menu.

Underwhelming Christmas Lunch Experience
lukewarm food solid trifle
The location had a pub vibe I found acceptable.
My U3A group booked a Christmas lunch, a previous favorite, but the quality was poor , with slow service and lukewarm food. My salmon had too much sauce and the trifle was solid, lacking fruit or alcohol, and difficult to eat.

i found the staff good. they allowed me access to my room early, so i can change for a wedding i attended. the breakfast was fabulous, also room and facilities were perfect.
the bar closed early on a sunday night. this was an inconvenience because i would have liked a late drink.

clean pub comfy bed warm room
i found the pub clean and quite cosy. our room was compact, but it suited our needs perfectly. the bed was comfy, and the room stayed warm throughout my stay.
The owner seemed a bit preoccupied. I wish they engaged more with the guests.
