amazing stay!
friendly staff many choices clean room
the staff were so attentive. i loved the breakfast, it had so many choices! the room was super clean and very well decorated. it, i felt really pampered!
The bed was a bit creaky. It made a little noise whenever i moved, which woke me up a couple of times.

the staff greeted me warmly. they showed me all the facilities in my room, they were always available when i needed something. their service was prompt and efficient, i couldn't have asked for more.

my room featured a lovely bath with an overhead shower and also included a comfortable twin bed plus a sofa bed. everything was super clean, the decor was really nice. i slept like a baby!

I found parking quite easy. There was plenty of space available, and the hotel is also not too far from a must-see site! i recommend visiting brancepeth castle! it's a hidden gem.

A Romantic Durham Getaway
clean room fantastic selection fluffy towels luxury touch
The room was perfectly clean and comfortable. Breakfast included a fantastic selection of food that I found good. I particularly appreciated the fluffy towels provided. They added a touch of luxury. I will certainly book again.

clean room comfortable room dog basket creaky bed metal frame limited food
the room was very super clean and cozy, i found a dog basket, blanket, and treats which i thought was a nice touch. the guesthouse was very accommodating for our pet dog. the breakfast was delicious.
the bed was really creaky and the metal frame was very noisy when i moved. it also smelt quite sweaty when i went in! food had stopped being served before i arrived and i'd picked the place thinking i could get dinner there.

unbearable noise missing warning
The staff seemed nice and helpful. I also found the food in the restaurant acceptable and breakfast to the room was a nice thing.
The noise on the night I stayed was unbearable because they were holding a party for a teenager. When I booked my stay, there was no warning about such an event and its noise. It would be appreciated to know in advance, because the night was not relaxing at all.
