The hotel is right in the heart of town, so convenient for exploring. i found the staff very friendly and helpful. i enjoyed the subtle j. m. barrie theme. It added a unique touch to the experience.

the bedroom was quite small, and i found the bed and pillows a little too hard for my liking.

The barmaid was very helpful. She didn't. the young lady in the morning was the same. Both provided excellent service. the staff were cute. This added to the experience.

There is a good bar. It has a nice wee snug for residents. a big car park is available for residents. This made parking easy. the hotel had subtle j. m. barrie theme, very unique.

Breakfast was great, though slightly dry, the chef cooked it very quickly. evening meals were also good. food felt homely and nourishing. This made me happy.

the room i was assigned was not acceptable. the temperature was too low. a small heater was not sufficient to warm the room. the windows did not prevent cold air from entering.
