comfortable bed full size dishwasher poor signage dust issue
i stayed for several nights i enjoyed the lodge it had everything i needed for cooking it also had a full size dishwasher and washing machine i found this a bonus the bed was comfortable.
the signage was not clear when i arrived i found it a bit difficult to locate the place the lodge i stayed in needed more attention to cleaning there was dust on the side lamps and headboard.

Decent Stay. Improvements Needed.
cracked tiles musty smell
The location of my lodge overlooked the lake and this was acceptable.
The lodge showed signs of wear and tear. Cracked tiles existed in the bathroom and rust was visible on the shower rail. I noticed a musty smell. This suggests underlying water damage that requires attention.

amazing family stay
private hot tub friendly staff lovely pond
the lodge was really warm and cosy. it included a sauna and a private hot tub. the staff were friendly and helpful when we needed them. a lovely pond near the entrance had ducks walking around the estate. they even came onto our porch looking for food.
our bedroom needed more storage which was a slight inconvenience

the site is near a lovely restaurant that is just a short walk. legoland and thorpe park are about a 45-minute drive from the hotel. the surrounding areas have dog walks and country pubs.

reception offers a small shop for essentials needed . hot tub levels were checked twice a day by staff which was very reassuring. the resort staff were always available and pleasant when contacted about various queries.

The lodge provided a full-size dishwasher and a washing machine. These were quite useful. I found the bed to be very comfortable. I also appreciated the provided iron, ironing board, fan, hairdryer, and clothes airer..

peaceful retreat
lovely atmosphere surprising sauna amazing walk friendly staff
the lodge had a sauna, a good surprise. i found lovely dog walks right outside. the dog-friendly pub was a real treat, just a short walk away. the little shop on-site had everything i needed (especially duck food for the pond!).
i noticed the lodge could use a bit more attention to detail regarding cleaning (the dust was noticeable on the side lamps).

the site includes a duck pond where you can buy duck food at the shop. hot tub staff checked on the hot tub levels twice a day. the lodge also features a full-size dishwasher and a washing machine.

a very dog-friendly pub sits just outside the lodge area, a convenient option. the kitchen in the lodge seemed well-equipped. i noted the convenience of a dishwasher for longer stays (a welcome addition).

reception and resort staff were consistently lovely and helpful. the hot tub staff checked the water levels twice daily, a nice touch. i found the staff friendly when i had a couple of enquiries.
