Excellent stay at a charming inn

The staff members were friendly and helpful . The food in the restaurant was of a high standard. I especially liked that the building's recent refurbishment was done with great care (everything felt new and fresh).
The room I stayed in was quite small, it did not allow for much space.

the staff were genuinely friendly. everyone. this was my second time staying and the service is excellent. the food is delicious. i found the hotel lovely with original features.
my bedroom was very cramped. it was also poorly furnished. the shower did not seem to operate properly. it only provided scalding hot or freezing cold water.

The staff were genuinely friendly. Everyone. The food was delicious and I enjoyed my meal.
My room was quite small, and the view from the window was just roof tiles. I asked about breakfast at 9 am, but the lady I spoke to said it was fine to come down earlier. I went down at 8:12 am, but the place was dark and empty, so I left without breakfast.

the rooms and bed was far too small. tea, coffee and towels was not replenished. we was staying more than one night. noisy creaky floors was making sleep difficult.

the room felt quite cramped. the floorboards creaked a lot, and i could hear every footstep outside my door (the walls seemed thin). the door was difficult to close from the inside. this. (i didn't sleep well that night)
