Really good Hospitality and Food

The staff was friendly and accommodating. I felt welcomed. My room included nice toiletries and a good hairdryer. Breakfast provided homemade bread and jam along with fresh butter. The dog received treats and lots of attention.
The car park was small and the entrance looked a little tired.

The setting and gardens are beautiful. Drumlanrig Castle is a short drive for a day trip, as I went on a walking tour. The location is great for dogs and is very peaceful, with really good service.

The staff are quite friendly. The location is ideal for exploring Scotland's South West.
The dinner experience disappointed me. The menu seemed limited. The food was adequate but not very exciting. I had better meals here previously.

Really good Country House Experience

I found the staff exceedingly capable! They accommodated my dog's needs with considerable care. I particularly enjoyed the food. It was fresh, of excellent quality, beautifully presented, and catered well to my dietary requirements. My room had a large shower and provided lovely views of the garden from the first floor.
The entrance look was slightly tired. I noticed the car park was small.

This place is gorgeous. the front garden has a sweet seating area. the staff were really helpful and friendly (i even got my glasses back). the breakfast was great. It had many options.
the car park was a bit small. the entrance also looked a little worn, so it could use a refresh. the entrance needs some cleaning too.
