warm receptionprivate yardmanicured lawnfriendly staff
the reception was warm, and the welcome drink was a nice touch. our junior suite private garden was fine. i especially loved the private yard, perfect for morning coffee (i enjoyed every minute there). the manicured lawn and pool area were lovely. the staff were very friendly and helpful.
the hotel is a bit outside the city. a car or the shuttle is necessary to get around.

A romantic getaway!

The room itself was spacious with drawers and seating. It made unpacking easy. Period furniture created a wonderful, ornate atmosphere. The lawn had adequate sunbeds, so relaxing by the pool was always easy. I loved that i never had to rush to claim a chair.
I found the restaurant to be a slight letdown. The menu felt limited, i thought. I had hoped for more local cuisine.

The breakfast selection offered yogurts, cheeses, eggs, and fruits. There were also breads, coffees, and teas, so i had many options. The hotel restaurant serves upscale italian dinners for something elegant.

The room included drawers, cupboards, and also seating. Furniture is period appropriate and very nice, though perhaps ought to be protected. The suite provided a bathtub for relaxed evenings.
