The staff provided a packed lunch when I needed an early breakfast. The room was spacious, more like a one-bedroom house. It offered ample tea and coffee.

the inn is nestled in the lee of the white horse hill. the setting is a picturesque hamlet. the rural location is a beautiful place. it's a very pretty area.

the rooms beside the pub have been recently converted and are very comfortable. there was good heating and plenty of hot water available. bedside lamps included usb plugs for phone charging. the hotel is dog friendly

Charming Stay Near White Horse Hill

The breakfast featured local ingredients. It was very tasty and satisfying. The staff were helpful and friendly, which i appreciated. I found a proper coffee machine in the room. It was very much appreciated as I am a bit of a coffee snob.
The room faced a tall hedge. This blocked most of the natural light.

the staff were helpful. they provided an alternative packed lunch because we needed an early breakfast before the kitchen was open. the room was more like a one bedroom house. it had plenty of tea and coffee.
the room felt a bit neglected. it WAS VERY cold when we checked in. i found one of the towels stained when we arrived. the only natural light came through French doors and they looked out onto a tall hedge.

The meals tasted good and the portions were large.
The room felt quite dark as the only natural light came through french doors. These doors faced directly onto a tall hedge blocking most of the light, it was not ideal. One of the towels also had a stain when I arrived, so I did not use it.

The room had a fabulous bathroom and a hot shower (it was great!). The location was quiet and beautiful. There was plenty of parking available. The cask beer was perfect.
One of the towels in the room was slightly stained when I arrived.
