poor lighting carpet clutter
the room was acceptable and had tea and coffee making facilities.
The entrance lacked proper lighting. rolls of new carpet littered the hallways and an overflowing dumpster with old carpets was visible outside. the front desk personnel doubled as bartenders. This felt unprofessional.

free parking varied breakfast unlogged request limescale showerhead
The room was very spacious (i liked it). There was also lots of free parking available. The breakfast had a good variety of options to choose from. I found the location to be good for cliff walks and local stately homes.
I requested a taxi via email in advance, but this request was not properly logged, and no action was taken. The shower head in the bathroom had limescale and should be replaced.

Mixed experience. Some issues noticed
the hotel felt a bit off from the beginning. the vending machine was empty, a disappointment. the staff were friendly, but it reminded me of the hotel wasn't quite ready , we loved the pool. but the bar was closed early.

friendly staff secure car park hearty meal
the staff were friendly. the car park was very secure. the breakfast and evening meals were also good and hearty. i thought this was good value for money.
i found the shower head in my bathroom was covered in limescale. it was in need of replacement. i think this small change would improve the experience.

limescale shower head loud music
Upon arrival, a disappointing scene greeted me. The shower head was heavily covered in limescale. It definitely needed replacement. Loud dance music played during breakfast, that was quite unpleasant. I think something more relaxing is appropriate that early in the morning.
