dark bathroom poor air conditioning
The breakfast offered a variety of options.
The room was quite dated. The bathroom was very dark and needed better lighting. the air conditioning did not work well, so the room felt humid and the bed felt damp.

colonial charm with excellent service
ample space hotel staff housekeeping team standard street market
I really enjoyed the breakfast. There was so much choice and the space was ample. the hotel staff were really good. From the parking attendants to the housekeeping team, they were always eager to help. the two nearby markets, tamarind and cicada, were excellent with much more than standard street market fare.

the breakfast offers a wide variety , including asian and european options, which i found satisfying. staff are friendly , though some had limited english skills, but were always eager to assist. nearby , the tamarind and cicada night markets offer diverse dining and entertainment options.

lovely stay with colonial charm
deck area beach access fabulous pool helpful staff
I enjoyed the deck area. direct beach access was a definite plus. the pool was fabulous. The kids loved it. there were always plenty of pool towels available. The staff were eager to help with drinks and food. i loved that.
the gym could use a bit more air conditioning. it got a little stuffy during my workout. however, i managed.

breakfast offered a rich selection with plenty of choices available to suit various tastes. the food at the pool bar was excellent. and it was so nice being able to grab a bite right there.

the gym was very nice and clean. i found the grounds well taken care of. the building exteriors and interiors have a beautiful design. there was also a wide beach area, that looked magnificent.

Relaxing Colonial Stay
heritage architecture maintained garden rattan bag
The architecture has a beautiful heritage style. I found a well-kept garden, pool, and bar. The location is near the weekend Cicada market, an easy walk. Grab taxis are readily available. I also appreciated daily water refills and the rattan beach bag provided.
I noticed some minor wear and tear in the room.

The included breakfast offered delicious options. I liked the fruits available on the tea table. I enjoyed Thai meals at the restaurant, which also has a happy hour overlooking the ocean.

Our room faced a koi pond (it was so beautiful!). The Grand Beautiful room was spacious. I found the cleanliness excellent. The room's design includes charming details with names inspired by different provinces in Thailand.
