some issues
closed restaurant limited breakfast
the place IS pretty. the grounds looked decent enough.
the food situation was confusing. village pubs were closed too, meaning no food at all. breakfast was continental only. it was limited and without hot options, what a joke for a supposed 4-star place.

Charming Stay with Excellent Service
quality toiletries landscaped gardens generous portions great food
The staff provided warm greetings and showed me to my room quickly. The room had crisp, white sheets and quality toiletries. I enjoyed the well kept groundswith landscaped gardens and a pond (I especially liked the ornamental crocodile). Dinner was in the restaurant. The portion sizes were generous and the food quality was great.
The coffee wasn't topped up on my second morning.

The room included a walk-in shower and built-in wardrobes. Information about local takeaways and walking routes was available (very helpful for planning my stay).

beautiful grounds lovely goats spot on decor
The goats on the grounds were lovely. The decor is spot on. I felt very comfortable because of the setup. All staff members were very cute.
