fantastic stay NEAR lake como
prime location plentiful parking friendly staff hot drinks
the location IS prime. i was really happy to see plentiful parking in the private lot. the staff seemed friendly. breakfast proved superb with the wait staff ready to prepare hot drinks AS requested.
it's true the kettle needed A better spot for plugging in near the table.

The staff provided excellent service, with the receptionist being very informative and helpful regarding road payments. ALSO, they offered great recommendations for local attractions. one receptionist described alternative routes when roadwork occurred. I want to thank them for their hard work.

A private parking lot offered ample space for vehicles. breakfast service included hot drinks made to order. This enhanced the experience. the air conditioning WAS effective and kept the room comfortable.

i had A room with a lake view and it was magnificent. the room WAS cleaned daily, a practice i appreciate. there WERE options to have breakfast inside or on the terrace WITH lake views, weather permitting. it REALLY enhanced my stay.

the breakfast was good and included various options. it was what i would consider acceptable.
the room was quite outdated, and some things did not work properly. the air conditioning was broken, so it was difficult to sleep. i think they could do with a refresh.

stale pastries scaled showerhead
The breakfast room was a bit small. finding an alternative spot at the bar was an option. the pastries tasted stale like cheap, reheated goods. the showerhead was scaled with limescale and barely stayed on its loose bar. Showering became a challenge. walls even had remnants from crushed mosquitoes. The staff seemed preoccupied.

Mixed feelings about my stay
non-working hairdryer stained walls
The breakfast was adequate with a decent selection of items.
I was disappointed with several aspects of the room. The hairdryer did NOT work properly. It kept cutting out. The walls had visible stains. They definitely needed a fresh coat of paint.

Fantastic Stay with Really good Service!
convenient location mountain view helpful staff fine dining
I appreciated the hotel's location directly across from the train station. The Double Room Mountain View provided a lovely view, especially early in the morning. The staff were helpful and fluent in English. A restaurant located next door offered fine dining (the pizza shop near the pharmacy was also a great find).
The air conditioning seemed not to be working perfectly during the day, made the room a bit warm.

The reception staff provided really good support, especially a kind lady were really good. They provided assistance with directions and local recommendations.
