this hotel is awesome. i loved the electronic panel controlling the curtains, blinds, and air conditioning. dean and nancy's cocktails are totally really good, and the burgers were some of the best i've ever had. the vibe at dean and nancy's was very vibrant, and the pianist on thursday was great (i really loved the vocals!). the pool lets you see the boats in the harbor.
it was slightly disruptive to my sleep.

the room includes big tvs and electronic controls for blinds and curtains. the space was ample, and i received a free upgraded room. the bath towels were massive (loved them!).

the location is excellent, opposite wynyard station. light rail is just outside the hotel. access to nearby attractions is easy (convenient!).

i found the location acceptable with train station nearby.
the room was too dark making it feel depressing, also, the hotel seemed to focus on tech instead of comfort. i had to sit sideways to watch tv because of the room layout. it wasn't a very enjoyable viewing experience at all.

the location was very CONVENIENT being right in the heart of the cbd. wynyard station is almost directly opposite. i found access to airport train platforms easy.
getting any service at the hotel was difficult. the bathroom sink was mostly clogged and drained slowly. there was NOBODY to help with luggage so we sorted ourselves.
