i liked its central location near various bars and cafes. I also appreciate the owner's proactive communication, providing clear guidance on accessing the building. the cheap price for my one night stay I think it was amazing. The room was really sufficient for a short visit.
the STREET can be too busy and NOISY, especially late at night with people walking and vehicles passing.

the room includes tea and coffee making facilities, VERY helpful for a quick refreshment. Bedding and towels are fresh. Cleanliness in both the room and bathroom also contributes to the quality.

the location is quite central and close to the King's theatre. This is surrounded by numerous bars and cafes, so this placement makes it easier to go out. It is a short walk from Southsea seafront as well.

the hotel is located above a pub, with a convenient option for drinks. The pub has a great vibe, which makes the stay that MUCH more enjoyable. While I didn't eat there, the food smelled good.

the bed was comfortable and i found tea and coffee in the room, a great convenience. the location was really convenient for getting to albert road, which i appreciated. check-in was easy and the instructions were accurate, a bonus after a long travel day.
The stairs were steep, especially with luggage. This could be difficult for some guests.

The location was very convenient for albert road. I could easily walk there. a bus stop was also nearby. This offered good transport options. i found the neighborhood friendly.

I did not eat at the bar, though the food smelled good. Many guests seemed to enjoy it. the bar downstairs sometimes plays live music, it usually stops around 10 pm.

the check-in process was smooth with a texted door code i had no issues getting into my room. the room was compact it provided everything i needed for my stay. i also found that it was a short walk to the wedgewood rooms making it easy to attend my event.
i noticed the lack of air conditioning and the room became quite warm during the day this affected my comfort a little. i suggest bringing ear plugs.

loud musicodd light switch
The noise was a big problem. Music played loudly until late on two of the four nights i stayed. finding the light switch in the toilet was like a scavenger hunt. It was oddly placed high above the door. getting to hang my coat seemed like a magic trick because of the coat rack location.
