the staff was very friendly and cute throughout my stay. breakfast had locally sourced food, a lovely touch. the bar had an interesting display of vintage hornby o gauge toy trains! the location proved excellent for touring around the new forest.
the electric radiator in the room was the only source of heat.

the location was fantastic since it was close to the open new forest.
The toilet had stains and the shower head was covered in limescale. It wasn't a pretty sight.

the cottage i stayed in was super clean and quite quirky!!! it came with tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits. i also appreciated the kitchenette with a fridge and microwave. the shower, located over the bath, provided amazing water pressure. dogs are welcome everywhere, and the pub dog even joined us for breakfast, good.

The room was simple but comfortable! The doors opened to a patio with the New Forest in view. I found the whole atmosphere was great. The staff were friendly too. The location was super.
Breakfast was not great. The scrambled egg was more like an omelette. I thought the bed mattress needed replacing. It was old. The extraction was broken in bathroom.

The room was spacious. it included a fridge and kitchen utensils. the shower delivered very hot water. we thoroughly enjoyed the sunday roast pork dinner on our first night. It was one of the best pub meals we have had. there was a generous portion size, appreciated after our walk.
the garden area could use some attention after the busy summer season, though i understand it is likely addressed later.
