adequate but Somewhat underwhelming Stay

cramped roomrepetitive breakfast
the room felt quite cramped, barely enough space to open my suitcase, i had to keep it on the bed. the breakfast selection was also a letdown, very repetitive and not many options. it seemed like they were cutting corners there. the staff, while polite, seemed a little indifferent to any concerns, which wasn't ideal.

short walklimited selectionmissing item
the location proved acceptable. it was a short walk to the train station.
the breakfast selection was quite limited. items routinely ran out and were not replaced promptly. i found this unacceptable, especially since the service was supposed to last until 10:00, but items were missing even at 9:00.

Really good Onsen Experience

tattoo-friendly onsenmodern areaconvenient locationpoor soundproofing
I appreciated the tattoo-friendly onsen available at the hotel. The onsen area, located in the basement, was gender-separated and modern. The location was very convenient, and the room I stayed in presented modern features. It was wonderful to return from exploring and have this option to unwind.
I found the soundproofing inadequate. I could clearly hear noises from neighbors and hallway traffic, which impacted my rest.

I observed staff being happy to help guests. The staff allowed luggage storage in the lobby when I checked out for a night. It was appreciated when the umbrella was returned to my colleague.
Rooms

The room had a comfortable shower and good size. I was grateful for the bed and pillows. They were very firm. I liked the room was super clean on arrival and had nice extras.
Dining
8/10
I noticed breakfast included a mix of Japanese and Western options. The breakfast was hearty before long days of travel. Afternoon tea and rice bowls for dinner were available too.
Facilities

There is a public bath available . I saw amenities that were provided . The hotel included fragrant hair oils and cleansing oils for use, and the onsen was a bonus.

I appreciated the convenient location near the train station. The hotel offers easy access to various parts of the city (a definite plus for tourists!). The cleanliness and modern amenities also stood out .
