super stay in the heart of it all
helpful stafftasty breakfastclean room
the staff were very helpful and friendly. the breakfast had tasty options (especially the scrambled eggs!). the hotel provided a water bottle, a nice touch for those not drinking hot drinks. i really appreciated the clean room with its great view.
i found the bed a bit lumpy, but it did not stop me from sleeping well.

my room had two armchairs, a work desk, and ironing facilities available, helpful. the bathroom felt perfect with all its amenities and proper maintenance. i appreciated the quietness in the area (despite being very central).

the food at the bar was good, and the same menu was available as in the restaurant. a good selection of dishes catered to various tastes. i was able to enjoy my evening meal and breakfast without any issues.

the staff offered directions to the bar when the restaurant was fully booked. they also allowed me to return and shower after a parkrun, even post check-out. this was helpful and meant i could enjoy my final day of touring.

the room was spanking new. the bathroom had sparkling clean fixtures. i found charging devices easy with plentiful outlets including usb a and c near the bedside.
the buffet items at breakfast could be expanded a bit.

the staff were very helpful and nice. the location was good, a quick walk to the main stores, cathedral, and museum. the room was lovely with two arm chairs, a desk. an iron and ironing board. the bathroom was perfect too.
the room was smaller than i expected for the money i paid for it, though it was not a significant issue.

my standard double room was well appointed. the bed was soft and comfortable. there was refreshing water in the room upon arrival. the shower was amazing!!! it was very powerful and hot.

the staff were friendly. i arrived late for check-in, everything was prepared, so i quickly accessed my room after a long journey. i didn't have to wait at all. the breakfast service was freaking awesome.

The location was central though it was hard to find initially. There was no one at reception most of the time, and i had to search for staff in the pub. Loud music from the bar continued late into the night, disrupting sleep. It was REALLY annoying. The breakfast service felt disorganized as items ran out quickly, and there was too little staff to manage everything.
