Adequate but Underwhelming Stay

The room felt a little neglected. The shower lacked hot water, a problem any time I tried to use it. I also noticed the bath towels were old and frayed. These details certainly detracted from the experience.

the parking instructions were simple. accessing the hotel was easy too. i found a good breakfast selection in the room. there was yogurt and pastries for me to eat.

The hotel was REALLY clean and had everything needed for my stay. The room was warm and cozy. I found lots of breakfast items (including fresh fruit!). Being able to park on the hotel was a GREAT bonus.
The shower had poor drainage. The bed linen felt old and I think desperately needs updating with fresh sheets and quilt cover.

The location offered easy access to the loch. Restaurants were also close. The pier was nearby, providing opportunities for scenic walks and boat trips.

The host accommodated an earlier check in time upon request, SO appreciated that. I was kept informed before and , and all instructions were provided remotely (so easy!).

The room, a standard double room, had lovely thistle decorations. everything felt clean. i really liked that a breakfast basket was ready for me. annelise was a great host. She helped me quickly when i needed it.

the location is excellent for exploring local spots and seeing the sights. nearby, there is free parking, about 100 yards away from the hotel and makes getting around easy.

The location was near Loch Lomond, a plus for exploring the area.
The bed in the room felt quite small. The plastic glasses felt cheap and were scratched. Proper glassware would have been much better. I also never saw any staff .
