many choices good quality easy walk
I found the breakfast to be excellent. There were many choices available and the quality was very good. The location was quite convenient and allowed easy walks to many attractions and food spots. The room easily accommodated my luggage, definitely a plus.
I noticed only one towel rack in the bathroom. This made it a little difficult to manage towels efficiently. This was the only drawback of the stay.

excellent stay
valet parking professional staff takeaway breakfasts
I was pleased with the valet parking. It was a welcome service. the staff was professional and polite, a detail i valued. the hotel worked hard to correct a reservation mix-up, which i appreciated. as a gesture of goodwill, they included take-away breakfasts since we were leaving before breakfast opened.
the hotel location is somewhat distant from the main attractions.

The urban king room was clean and of a perfect size. the bed and pillows were comfy, a detail i appreciated. the shower included lovely toiletries. A small detail that enhanced my stay, and i liked the tea and coffee making facilities.

the hotel provides a roof level bar, and i noticed that it offered a good selection of drinks. i observed friendly staff in the roof level barwith a pleasant experience. the breakfast had a wonderful spread, and this made for a convenient start to the day.

the hotel offers valet parking. this was a welcome service given the downtown location. the lobby looked smaller and less grand, but it was still functional. i saw availability of plugs, useful for charging devices.

the location allowed easy walking distance to st patrick's cathedral, the tealing distillery and the dublin liberties distillery. it was easy to start our vacation with a tour of st patricks and then catch the hop-on, hop-off bus there for a day of sight seeing!

unkind staff scraping chairs
The staff seemed overworked, maybe that's why they were sometimes unkind! i got a disability adapted room though i didn't request it. The management said they had no other options, it was strange. it was like they gave it to me just because it was empty! the room was right under the bar, so i heard chairs scraping until late. it was not very restful.

spacious rooms clean rooms
the rooms were spacious and clean. i especially liked the good walking distance to the center (though i did have to walk a bit!).
the lack of a fridge in the room was a minor inconvenience.
