slow bar service stale bread
The bar service proved shockingly slow. Securing a drink required excessive waiting and repeated requests. My initial drink order arrived flat. The soup lacked flavour, and the bread seemed stale. It was clearly leftover from breakfast. Such shortcomings detract from the expected standards of a hotel in this category.

shocking service long wait
the breakfast had a superb range of food.
The service in the bar was shocking, we wanted a quick drink and a bite. it took ages to get seated, then nobody came to take our order. after waiting, i went to the bar to order. They told me to sit down and someone would come. i waited again and had to go back to the bar to order.

mixed feelings about THE stay
non-working tv non-working phone
the staff was friendly, acceptable.
I was told the tv had netflix, BUT it didn't work. I had to call IT. there was no hot water one morning. i tried to call reception, but the phone in the room wasn't working.

the room given had a great garden view. the garden itself was neat and looked very well maintained. the hotel has lots of character with a fine period building. i felt very comfy with the helpful check in i received.

the staff appear very friendly and provide thoughtful service throughout my stay. i also found the breakfast service quite nice, with attentiveness to guest needs being a priority. the lady assisting with breakfast was amazing.

the hotel building had fine period features that were well-preserved. the communal spaces, like the bar area, appear fabulous and inviting. free parking was a big plus, giving me peace of mind .

A Romantic Irish Escape
clean room garden view friendly staff
the rooms were spacious and clean i loved the garden view from my room it was a wonderful sight to wake up to. the breakfast spread offered plenty of delicious choices each morning it was a great way to start the day. i also found the staff friendly and helpful.
the mini bar in the room wasn't working initially but it was promptly addressed.

the personnel were very attentive with a professional attitude they created a comforting environment for visitors. they also provided prompt room service ensuring my requests were handled without delay. the staff offered information assisting guests with directions and recommendations.

the hotel provides large parking for all guests it is convenient for those driving. the site also boasts a large and clean garden providing a quiet retreat. the hotel offers great proximity to key areas allowing for short trips into the city.

green grounds elegant bar efficient room service satisfying variety
the hotel has beautiful green grounds, and i noticed the surrounding area was also well-kept. the restaurant and bar looked elegant. all staff members were helpful and polite, check-in was straightforward, and the room service was efficient. breakfast included a satisfying variety without any issues. check-out was completed without problems.
the room did not have a working fridge, i had to request ice from downstairs.
