adequate stay
friendly reception ample parking chipped painting cold room
the reception offered a friendly welcome (it set a good tone). i found plenty of parking spaces. the room was lovely, which i appreciated after a long journey.
the bathroom felt dated. the painting showed chipped areas around the vanity unit. there was no heating in the room, and it got quite cold during the night.

helpful staff plentiful breakfast small room dated bathroom
The staff was very helpful. the hotel was nicely decorated for christmas. That was a nice touch. the breakfast was plentiful, i could find many options.
the room was quite small. the bathroom seemed dated. i did not think it matched the price of the room. the painting around the vanity unit was chipped.

bright area helpful staff
the breakfast area was bright and included a conservatory. i found the leisure facilities to be an extra bonus. staff were friendly and helpful. food in the bar and grill met a high standard.
The gym was a little crowded during peak hours. I had to wait a few minutes for a treadmill.
