The hotel room was very clean. The bedding felt comfortable. The food was excellent and fairly priced. Breakfast was also excellent.

The staff has been kind. The reception service was helpful and courteous. I found them willing to answer questions. The staff seated us right before closing when we arrived late and were starving.

lovely stay, minor hiccup
warm welcome local wood quiet room
the reception staff provided a warm welcome and ensured check-in was straightforward. the room offered a nice view of the local wood, a pleasant surprise. i found the room to be quiet and it had excellent facilities.

great stay. quiet room
free parking tasty sandwich attentive staff
the on-site parking is free and located at the back. i ate a very tasty steak sandwich in the courtyard. the bar was nice and the staff were super attentive to my needs.
the girl working in reception did not seem to be well mannered. never asked how our stay was as we were checking out. just took our room card.

rude receptionist unclean bath
the reception girl, i swear, she just stared blankly when i checked out. didn't ask how my stay was or anything. the fire alarm in the room decided to have a party at like eight in the morning. nobody bothered to explain this sudden wake up call. also, it seems the bath was on vacation because it didn't get cleaned or the duvet straightened, lazy job really.

The restaurant and bar seemed clean. It looked attractive.
I requested a room change because I wanted a different view, but this request was completely ignored during my three nights. I guess it was too much trouble.

a lovely visit
local produce comfy beds hidden gem
breakfast included a good selection of local produce, all cooked well. staff where friendly and very accommodating to our needs. my family and i had a restful sleep in comfy beds. we found the hotel to be a hidden gem, also close to carlow and kilkenny.

thin walls noise disturbance
The food from the kitchen was amazing. The chef did an excellent job.
I had issues with noise. The walls seemed thin, and I could hear conversations from other rooms. This disturbance made it hard to relax and get a good night's sleep
