worn carpetimpersonal service
My room lacked any real charm. The carpet looked quite worn. breakfast service felt impersonal and rushed. I think more attention to these areas would greatly improve the guest experience.

The room was very clean. The breakfast was good.
I was a little disappointed. The room lacked sufficient light, made reading difficult. the receptionist was a bit unfriendly and did not provide clear instructions during check-in. I think the staff should pay more attention to guest service.

the breakfast was a highlight with scottish classics on offer. i found the staff very friendly and willing to help with anything i needed.
the room i had was quite small it felt cramped. the lighting in the room was also very dim it made reading difficult at night.

The breakfast setup was odd. i had to walk across the street to another building for it. It felt disconnected. the room i booked, a double room, was smaller than i expected, and it was a bit noisy at night. I heard street sounds. i wish it had been quieter. also, the tv was old. it felt outdated compared to the rest of the room.
