my room had a smart TV. it allowed me to watch Netflix. the location was near the train station. michelle at reception was very friendly.
the hot water was not hot. it was only warm. a quilt was stained. it was hidden by the quilt cover. i heard noise from another room.

a somewhat underwhelming stay
small roomsmoke smell
the room i booked, a 'large double' if you can believe it, felt more like a standard single after a week. i suspect the large room ended up housing someone else. also, the constant smoke smell wafting in, presumably from a chain-smoking neighbour, made for a rather unpleasant atmosphere. it was less 'boutique hotel' and more 'industrial chimney'

The location was very good. It helped me get around easily. The staff seemed very friendly and someone was always there if I needed anything. Security felt very good. I appreciated that.
The room felt small. There was a damp smell in the bathroom because there was no ventilation. There was nowhere in the bathroom to put my toiletries.

The hotel features a secure entry system and cctv in communal areas. the receptionist was very cute and helpful, i thought. the room was a good standard, the bed was very comfortable. It was very clean.
The hot water was not very hot from the sink or shower. it was only warm and then cold after 8 am. the quilt had some heavy stains hidden by the quilt cover. It was unpleasant.

The location was advantageous for accessing local bars I found. The bed was large and comfortable I slept well. The staff were very helpful they communicated clearly.
The water from the shower was not always hot enough to be satisfying.
