decent Stay
helpful staff comfortable bed old hotel musky smell
the reception staff were helpful. the room on the fourth floor was clean. i enjoyed the bathtub in the bathroom and the bed was comfortable.
the towels smelled horrible. it smelled musky and the hotel itself is old.

a tender respite
sweet eva spacious room gorgeous view
the staff was a true delight. eva was so very sweet and helpful during check-in, tending to my questions with such grace. mohammad also was a wonderful presence, always ready to assist. the room itself was spacious, a haven for us both. it was so very clean with views of the gorgeous city.
the tv in the room, alas, did not work. i longed for a quiet evening.

great location public transport luggage keeping
The hotel location helped me a lot. It allowed quick walks to casa mila and casa batllo. i appreciated the proximity to public transport stations. ease of checking in and checking out was very efficient, and they kept my luggage after i checked out, i loved that.

The breakfast proved disappointing. cold scrambled eggs were served. the hot water dispenser produced undrinkable tea. Also one of the rooftop jacuzzis was out of service.

clean room well-equipped room helpful staff
I had a superior double room, it was clean and well-equipped. the room had a spacious feel, everything was organised well. the rooftop jacuzzi was a great spot. I unwound there each evening! the staff were helpful and always available to assist.
i found the air conditioning in my room difficult to regulate. the room tended to get warm, i would have preferred more control over the temperature. it was a bit of a nuisance, but manageable overall.

the hotel offered very easy access to public transport, including bus and subway lines. major attractions are within a comfortable walking distance, i walked almost everywhere. several restaurants are nearby too.

my room included a large, comfortable bed. the bathroom featured nice toiletries, i liked them. a mini-room was nicely stocked, it was practical. everything was clean and well kept.

helpful staff rooftop jacuzzi
The location was excellent. I walked to many attractions. The staff proved attentive and helpful at all times. I enjoyed the rooftop Jacuzzi. It was relaxing after sightseeing. The room had air conditioning, which helped with the summer heat.
The gym was small. I would have liked more equipment.
