a beachside dream!
intimate location two balconies stand-up shower
I adored the location right by the beach. It felt so intimate. the partial sea view suite had two balconies, and it was very comfortable for our stay. a stand-up shower plus a bathtub shower with a pull-out washing line was so helpful. filtered water and water machines are available at reception and on the ground level too.
A few power points in my room were not working properly. It was a small inconvenience.

Acceptable Stay with Some Disappointments
wall leak unhelpful advice
The pool area had many sun loungers .
The room I was given had a leak on the wall. The staff said it was common in coastal areas and I should leave the AC on all night. It did not evaporate by the next day so the suggestion did not work.

beautiful garden kids swimming pool thin towel poor maintenance
I liked the beautiful garden. It gave direct access to the beach. The hotel also has a kids swimming pool. I found many restaurants nearby. It was easy to find local food.
The room looked tired. It was poorly maintained. There was only one towel per person, and it was thin and old. I found no hand towels or face cloths.

mixed feelings ABOUT THIS HOTEL
dirty equipment beach rubbish
i found some issues that need addressing. the gym was in very bad shape. the equipment was all dirty, and it looked like it had not had any maintenance in weeks. additionally, the beach near the hotel was not clean. there was sewage and rubbish, and it smelled bad. i am frustrated I could not swim there.

the pool area had a family friendly design and a nice splash park. the breakfast included malaysian delicacies, it gave a taste of local flavors.

large pool sun umbrella beautiful garden
The hotel is near the beach. I enjoyed the big pool, it had both sunbeds and sun umbrellas. The garden (it was beautiful!) also was a plus for me.

acceptable stay with issues
noisy aircon terrible ambience
i did not take a breakfast package at all.
the aircon was very noisy, it make me very mad. the pool area looks like it needs serious updates. the dining room's ambience was terrible, i hated it.
