kitchen equipment bath products missing balustrades building materials
the kitchen had plenty of equipment. the bath products were good quality. (i appreciate small details like that).
there were no balustrades on the narrow sides of the decking when i arrived. they were stacked at the front of the deck in front of the windows with bollards and building materials.

SUPERB lodging!
peaceful location washing machine
The hotel location was peaceful. Watching the wildlife was Great. The hotel was spacious. A dishwasher and washing machine were available.
When we arrived there were no balustrades on the narrow sides of the decking. Unfortunately these were all stacked at the front of the deck, in front of the lounge windows along with various bollards, tape, building materials and a dirty ashtray. We were only there for 3 nights and due to the lovely weather we did spend a lot of time on the deck. Unfortunately this was somewhat ruined by the building site surrounding us. Workmen did come onto the house (unannounced) wanting to put up the balustrades. We were there for a relaxing few days so asked them to return when we'd left the following day. Just a warning that anyone can walk on the deck past both bedrooms without any warning. Hopefully these have now been fixed if anyone is wanting to visit with children. I did email the company renting the house but have received no reply or acknowledgement.

Wonderful Lakeside Stay!
beautiful setting homely feel thoughtful touches
I thought the setting was beautiful. It felt very homely. I enjoyed all the thoughtful touches.
I found the location to be very peaceful and relaxing! It was a minor issue, though.

Barrows are available at the car park, which simplifies luggage transportation from the car. The pontoon walkway to the lodge is very convenient. I appreciated the thoughtful design. A bar and restaurant are located on-site, accessible within a short walk.

The hotel is a few minutes walk along the riverbank to various pubs. Restaurants are easily accessible. I found them very convenient. They are about 10 minutes walk.

The lodge had a very comfortable bed. It ensured a good night's sleep. I felt rested. The accommodations were also well-equipped.

The location was unique , floating on the lake. The lodge offered comfortable and well-equipped accommodations with nice lake views. Comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep.
Upon arrival, there were no balustrades on the narrow sides of the decking. Building materials , including bollards and tape , were stacked in front of the lounge windows. This material created a minor visual issue.
