The room faced the main road. So charming until the lorries started their engines before dawn. double glazing seemed more like a suggestion. breakfast included porridge. Unfortunately, it was served at a temperature usually reserved for molten lava. I burnt my tongue. not the best start to the day.

The room faced a main road. traffic noise was constant. It was hard to sleep. breakfast wasn't good and the breakfast staff weren't cute! the porridge was scalding. it was so noisy with road traffic and the squeaky kitchen door..

I found the room comfortable and spotlessly clean. fresh milk and chilled water were a lovely touch in the fridge. the breakfast portions were generous and the quality was excellent. I enjoyed a delicious start to each day. the staff were very helpful and accommodating to all my needs.
I did notice some slight noise from the road outside during the early morning. It was noticeable but didn't greatly impact my stay.
