lovely rooms and good food

the room was big and very comfortable. it was very quiet, so i had a great night's sleep. the food is excellent, with a very good choice of freshly cooked breakfast. i ate there on three evenings and all meals were delicious.
the bathroom walls were filthy. there was something splattered on the wall above the towel rail. the shower was totally unusable as the temperature gauge wasnt working and the water was scalding.

i found a well-positioned setting and the parking was free and very close which i found helpful. the room was very quiet ensuring a good night's sleep. i enjoyed the food and found the staff friendly. i also appreciated the electric charging stations available.
i noticed a small detail, the shower pressure was less powerful than i would have liked but it was still functional.

the room included a big comfortable bed and i noticed fresh milk was provided for tea and coffee. complimentary drinks were also available in the fridge i found in my room. a sofa was included in the room.

The hotel has a nice buzz because the restaurant and rooms are always busy. there is another entrance to the rooms. You do not have to walk through the bar to reach them. i found this convenient for coming and going.

i found the breakfast excellent and the evening food was quite good. i particularly enjoyed the pie with mash and veg. fresh food was cooked for breakfast which was a definite plus for me.
