The king double or twin room had very good quality bedding. The shower was superb. The evening meal was of an high standard.
The brewery lorry delivered quite early on Tuesday.

the room was clean, a detail i always appreciate. the bistro offered very delicious food, and the wine bar provided excellent value. the hotel's location proved ideal for exploring the area and its creative shops..
i found the immediate street to be quite noisy at times, especially during early morning deliveries.

The room decor was stylish. The shower was excellent. The staff members were friendly. The breakfast was also excellent.
There was no parking on site. I had to cross a busy road to park. There was no lift. I had to walk up some slim stairs with lots of luggage.

I found the lack of included breakfast frustrating. every other hotel i know includes it, especially at this price point. It felt cheap. also, the bar noise at night was more disruptive than i expected, even after they stopped the live music, the staff kept the stereo going late. it made it hard to get a good night's sleep. And that affected my overall experience negatively. the room being above the bar was a poor design choice.

The room was well-decorated to a high standard. I also received a chilled water bottle upon arrival. free parking was across the road. I checked in first, and staff directed me. i would stay there again. The location is excellent.
the cobbled streets were surprisingly hilly! this might be uncomfortable for people wearing high heels.

the room was very nice and neat. i liked that the usual features were one step up with filter coffee bags and real tea. there was also a bottle of milk and higher end toiletries. it seemed like a treat staying here.
there was no parking. you had to cross a very busy road to park your car. it was above a pub and bar, very very noisy.
