Charming Stay by the River

The staff was friendly. Breakfast included many choices. I liked being served each morning. I enjoyed the lovely view of the river and field from my room. We also loved the food. Every meal tasted good and had freshly grown vegetables. The room had a whirlpool bath. It proved very beneficial after long days of exploring. The bar had excellent drinks. The food was superb. I would travel for the food alone.

The location felt remote.

The hotel sits next to the river. This creates a quiet setting. Sheep and lambs were visible across the river from the premises. The sound of the flowing water was soothing. There was an electrical hookup available for EVs.

The staff was great. the food was very good too! The location was beautiful. Our accommodation was immaculately super clean and cozy. I loved it!

The guest welcome experience could be improved, though, I must say. An offer of help with luggage would have been nice too. I struggled a little.

the river suite had a good-sized bedroom and a lounge.

The kettle was dirty. It was rusted and lacked a safety label. the lock was badly repaired and opened in the opposite direction. It took time to figure out the correct key.
