the black bull burger was delicious for dinner. the room upgrade seemed recent and of high quality. staff members were generally helpful and friendly (adam, in particular, stood out).

the food quality stood out, and the freshly made dishes were a plus. serving times stretched ideally from 12 pm to 9 pm, which suited my schedule well. the drink selection was great with reasonable prices.

the staff, particularly adam, gave us a warm welcome. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. i enjoyed a tasty cooked breakfast and the pub has a friendly environment. the location is close to amenities and other pubs and near a nice walk to hareshaw linn, which has a beautiful waterfall, well worth the walk.

The food tasted fresh. It was good quality. The staff kept the fire burning and played Fleetwood Mac. This created a laid-back atmosphere. The drinks selection suited my tastes, and I considered the prices reasonable. I thought the pub was a friendly place. It was close to amenities and other pubs. it was close to a walk to Hareshaw Linn, a beautiful waterfall.
I noticed a slight draft near the window in my room but it was not too significant.
