my husband and i enjoyed an really good evening meal on valentine's day. the service struck us as fantastic from our arrival. it was attentive, friendly, and fast. our meals proved delicious, not just one course but all three. everything, even the side dishes, showed attention to detail.
The pipes in the bathroom made a high pitched noise. We had to leave the hot tap slightly on to stop it.

The staff was very friendly and polite, especially the lady serving breakfast. they made a sandwich and salad for us after the kitchen had closed. This kind gesture meant a lot. their warmth created a homely atmosphere i found cute.

i received a SUPER welcome when i arrived, and i got a free upgrade to the hadrian suite. the evening menu had many choices. i enjoyed an excellent steak cooked perfectly in the bar near the cozy fire. it came with great beer and cider! in the morning, i chose the northumbrian full cooked breakfast, and the ingredients tasted great.

This location reminded me of a dream. the staff greeted me with such warmth. my room was beautifully equipped with unique touches, a detail i adored. i was even upgraded. The gesture felt thoughtful. the breakfast was tasty, and the lovely waitress had excellent music taste. i will bring my family here.
the bathroom pipes made a slight noise at times, though it was easily resolved by leaving the hot tap on a little.

the hotel was gorgeous. the staff offered the loveliest welcome upon our arrival. we received an upgrade to the suite without requesting, a beautiful surprise. i enjoyed the steak, so tender and cooked perfectly by the cosy fire.

the evening meal was tasty enough.
The room i stayed in was very small and not exactly clean. the bathroom had a distinct odor, and the shower temperature fluctuated wildly. It was difficult to enjoy. plus, the noise from nearby rooms was quite audible. i think that the lack of soundproofing is the main issue.
