small showermould grout
The shower was quite small and showed signs of mould. the building seemed to need some updating. it could be a very pleasant place to stay with some work. there was no one on site except during breakfast. I missed having a staffed bar and restaurant.

I arrived to find the room i booked, a beautiful room, was very clean. breakfast offered a good mix of cereals, fresh fruit, natural yoghurt and a cooked breakfast too. It was amazing!!!

The location was nice enough.
The central heating did not work during the night. I was quite cold and had trouble sleeping.. I could not find a spare blanket. Breakfast was also not available on site.

I found the breakfast to be amazing! the breakfast room was bright and open. A real treat. servers recommended destinations for travel. Tenby was amazing, and local restaurants too. the spot is rural and just a few miles from hay-on-wye, a beautiful town.
the room was very warm! there was no aircon or fan to cool it down. i could hear every noise and movement upstairs, which wasn't ideal.

the breakfast menu had good options. the hotel provided free car parking. my room felt homely because of special extra things.
my room was slightly dirty. the toilet had dust and hairs. there were cobwebs on the ceiling, and the room was cold upon my arrival.

The breakfast was lovely. The staff were very accommodating to my toddler.
The bar and restaurant have both been closed since May. This was a real shame as both look lovely in the pictures. We arrived late after a long journey, so we had to drive to find food.
