the bar area had a good selection of beers.
i found accessing the hotel in the evening a bit tricky. there was also just one chair in the bedroom, which wasn't ideal for two guests. the toilet wasn't efficient either i noted a notice threatening a £50 fine for visitors breaking the toilet.

The inn was clean. staff members were friendly. They accommodated all requests efficiently. i liked the delicious, freshly cooked food at the pub. there was also ample car parking. This made coming and going simple.
The central heating was on a timer. it switched off at 9 pm and did not come back on until 8:30 am. It was a little chilly overnight.

The pub features an open fire. It adds to the cozy atmosphere. i had a sunday lunch and was very satisfied. Presentation was lovely. staff accommodated us even without a reservation. Dinner was a positive experience.

The bed was comfortable. i enjoyed the spacious room. the ensuite bathroom provided all essential amenities. It ensured comfort.

the staff acted very friendly! the bar area felt quite nice. the food tasted good. i found a large car park. made parking easy.
the toilet seemed inefficient? there was a notice threatening a £50 fine on visitors breaking the toilet. i noticed the shower head was broken with bad water pressure, amongst other issues.
