john and julie provided me with an excellent breakfast each day of my visit. there was a great breakfast choice available and john cooked it very well. i particularly enjoyed the croissants stuffed with brie and bacon. it was nice to have a nightcap at the bar before going to my room.
the shower in my room only managed a dribble which was not ideal.

john and julie were very cute. the guest house was kept very clean, a priority i always appreciate. breakfast was also quite good (i especially liked the variety of options). they seemed to really care about the comfort of their guests.
the room felt a bit dated and could use some updating. the bed also made a bit of noise with every movement (i'm a light sleeper, so it bothered me). these things didn't ruin the stay, but they were noticeable.

I stayed for two nights and found the guest house fabulous. John and Julie are lovely hosts and. I enjoyed the lively atmosphere in the bar at night and I found their hosting skills the best. I really appreciated that nothing was too much trouble for them.
The radiator in the room made a gurgling sound. This could use some maintenance.
