The staff was VERY helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed the food in the restaurant. It was WELL presented.
The room was warm. I had to keep the windows closed, BUT the road outside was noisy. I found the minimum of toiletries provided DISAPPOINTING.

I was happy with the gym. It had three treadmills and several weight machines. the lakeside location was ideal for quiet morning walks. the family room i booked included bunk beds, which the kids liked. the food at the bar was quite nice too, i think.
the spa was located far from the main rooms. i encountered difficulty when carrying all my luggage over the lengthy distance.

The staff took GREAT care of each customer. The food arrived quickly. Service felt optimal, just wonderful. The entire hotel was clean. Even the swimming pool sparkled. I found the atmosphere quite relaxing.
The room I stayed in was too warm if the windows remained closed. It was also too close to a noisy road to leave the windows open. There was an absolute minimum of toiletries provided.

Breakfast included a coffee machine, a nice touch. Dinner was also LOVELY!!! The chef and team deserve top marks for well-presented, warm, and deliciously cooked food that elevated every meal.

The location is idyllic next to the lake with expansive greenery. It is still only a few minutes drive to town, a convenient benefit. I loved the surroundings!!!

the room was recently refurbished. its high standard ticked all boxes. the bathroom was spacious and clean (though the bath side was high). the surroundings included well-kept gardens and a children's play area.
there was no air conditioning. the hotel provided a fan in the room, but it only blew warm air. i had to remove the duvet from its cover to sleep, and it had huge stains. i could not open the window because of mayflies from the nearby lake.
