The walk instructions were useful. The room (I stayed in a King Room) was nice and neat. Staff members were both friendly and efficient (June impressed me).
There was nowhere for smokers to sit sheltered from the weather.

Acceptable stay

excellent menu walking path peeling paint dated building
The breakfast menu presented an excellent array of choices. A continental selection was available as well. The location allows access to walking paths near Lynton and Lynton. It avoids being directly in town.
The building seemed dated inside and out. It looked tired and in need of some attention. Plants were left unattended, and the patio could use some refreshing. I noticed some paint peeling on the bathroom ceiling in my room
