underwhelming stay

quiet locationdirty spa bathleaking shower
the location was quiet and secluded, which i expected.
the bathroom, i find, was far from clean. the spa bath had visible dirt around the taps, and when i turned on the jets, grime and dirt erupted. also the shower leaked badly, it flooded the bathroom after only a short shower. i expect better for the price.

Mixed Experience at the Lodge

I found some aspects of my stay disappointing. The outdoor spa pool did NOT appear clean. It even had a strange smell. it lacked a footstool, made getting in and out difficult. The hotel seemed understaffed, giving it a lifeless feel outside of breakfast (a VERY basic breakfast at best). Even at breakfast, the blinds remained shut, blocking any view of the garden (a shame really).
