the hostess greeted us, showing a safe path for walking into the center was so thoughtful. breakfast had the friendliest staff and wonderful choices. i loved the tearoom and it was filled with such vintage charm.
the room was a touch cold, and i had some trouble getting the radiator going but it was so minor.

The breakfast was fantastic with a Full English Breakfast, including a Full Vegetarian option. The location is perfect, especially as WWT Martin Mere is an easy walk away. The building includes a popular tea room that serves delicious, huge cakes. They have Sunday Roast too.
I had trouble with the shower, I couldn't find the instructions right away. A small sign in the bathroom would be helpful.

There is a tea room on site, that offers Sunday Roast, so you don't have to worry about planning lunch elsewhere. The building has an old charm to it, with comfortable furnishings making your stay very enjoyable. Fresh milk and juice are available in a communal fridge.

I appreciated the ground floor room with a great space with comfortable beds. The bathroom offered a good size and included plenty of towels. Toiletries were generously supplied, and there were many tea and coffee sachets. Breakfast presented a lovely menu and various items for self-service. The food was cooked to order and tasted hot. Checking in and out went smoothly.
The room could have been a little warmer, as the radiator did not seem to turn on efficiently

The breakfast was really good, with fresh brewed coffee and quality ingredients. a good selection of cereals and toast toppings was available. margaret served the breakfast with a lovely attitude. the barn had a quaint atmosphere, and the room included good tea and coffee facilities. Fresh milk and juice were available in a communal fridge.
the room faced houses across the way. closing the curtains was necessary to maintain privacy.
