a charming stay by the water!

The host was available by text and was very thoughtful. the room included bottled water and little chocolates. It was a sweet touch. the ensuite shower room was super clean and functional. i appreciate free tea and coffee were provided in the large kitchen.
the staircases in this building can be a little challenging, so i suggest confirming room placement if accessibility is a concern.

Staff responded to queries carefully and quickly. It reflected their attention. the host also texted after check-in to ensure needs were being met. this provided reassurance .

the hotel benefits from free parking right outside, very convenient. there is easy access to walks and small villages nearby. the railway station is about a ten minute walk away.

the room had many power points, which helped a lot! a settee and table were available for spreading out or working. the double bed felt quite spacious and comfortable.

i appreciated the large kitchen and lounge area facing the river. the kitchen has utensils available for guest cooking. free wifi access is available throughout the guest house.

The room had blackout vertical blinds. It really helped. complimentary bottled water was provided in the room. It was a lovely touch. i also used the shared kitchen. It was well equipped.
the front door lock required a bit of getting used to.
