The town centre IS really close. It has many dining options and gift shops. I found a co-op, Sainsbury's, and Tesco nearby. The hotel smelled amazing every day. Fresh towels and bedding were available upon request.
There were some issues with hot water and heating. The bathroom was smaller than expected. The water pressure was a little low.

i found the tv in the room to be quite nice. dawn. i also had enough space in the king suite! the hotel had a warm feel.
bathrooms were a little smaller than expected, though it was manageable.

this guesthouse is in a great central location. the price was reasonable. it acted as a perfect base spot for exploring the lakes for a few days. my room was comfortable and clean. i was provided with everything i needed including a pot of oats for the first morning.
stairways getting to the rooms with luggages were a little tight.

The location was convenient to town. The owner provided tea and coffee in the room.
Hot water was an issue , and the water pressure in the shower was weak. The bathroom was small. The stairways were narrow, so getting luggage to the room was difficult.
