the location was amazing. i loved how close it was to local spots. our room had fresh milk and cake, a nice touch. i must mention, breakfast was delicious and the staff were helpful.
the mini-fridge in our room made noise (i think) and i had to unplug it.

The underfloor heating was OFF when I arrived. Then, at 05:30, the room became excessively hot, waking me UP. a knock at the door woke me again at 07:20.

The staff were helpful, making the stay acceptable.
The room's underfloor heating was off initially, then became too hot at 5:30 AM. A fellow guest disturbed me at 7:20 AM, looking for reception. The person at reception only apologized (said the night porter was on holiday). This seemed out of line given the room's cost.

We booked swallows rafter and it was good. the room included a very large double bed and a freestanding bath in the same space. a separate wet room was also available. we enjoyed breakfast there. It was a la carte. the food tasted very good, i tried the full breakfast and my wife had the vegetarian option.
the room was very close to the front door. we heard voices late at night, not ideal.
